Variable Annuities

Our experience with variable annuities dates back to 1970. In December 1969, OFG Financial (formerly the Columbian Securities Corporation) was endorsed by the Kansas State Teachers Association (Kansas-NEA) to offer the Security Benefit variable annuity program to its members in the Sec. 403(b) tax sheltered annunity market. Since that time, OFG Financial Services has become a major marketing organization for Sec. 403(b) plans in Kansas.

In 1972, we began marketing Sec. 403(b) annuities in Oklahoma and later in the Sec. 403(b) and Optional Retirement Plan (ORP) market in Texas.

OFG Financial Services started marketing nonqualified fixed and variable annuities in 1972. Since that time, we have signed dealer agreements with more than 40 insurance companies to sell fixed and variable annuities. Our representatives have a broad range of variable annuity products with access to numerous money management companies.

In addition to variable annuities, many of the companies that we represent also offer variable life products.
